CM HASIB CH
Graduate Architect / Designer
SUMMARY

Borned in an architecture background family has inspired me to visualise myself as an architect. Not just THE ordinary but aiming to be a reknown architect. Formulating creations through architects' perspective and imagination have always inspired me. I am one who loves challenging myself, exploring new ideas which can be beneficial in my design explorations.

During my undergraduate years, we were taught into exploring architecture. Understanding and intergrating subjects with design was a big challenge for me. On my final year of undergraduate, my design for was selected for WISE Housing Competition. The feeling that I experienced that time gave me a boost in architectur and it was one of an achievement that felt really great. After finishing my undergraduate, I took a break and worked for almost a year. Somehow l felt that something was missing and that was how I pursued my study in Masters. The learning process inpostgraduate is more detailed and inclined into problem solving. I realized that architexture wasn't only designing pretty or unique buildings, it was more of solving problems.

I was the Head of Delegates representing my University for the annual Architectural Student Workshop. Later, I was also selected for President of ARCHISA, an architectural student association in my current institution. I would consider myself to be responsible, approachable and a dependable individual through the experiences of my study years and responsibilities.

I have worked with Aqidea Architect Sdn. Bhd. from November 2013 to August 2014 and currently working with Archicentre Sdn. Bhd and have been assigned to manage and work in the project team of various projects. Project team involved a wide range of design and planning works, project management and implementation of tasks. Looking at your own work from a monitor screen to a real live output has been the most outstanding feeling that I have ever felt. It was a great experience that I can never forget.

Overall, I consider myself to be very positive, full of energy, independent and focused in performing any architectural and design task towards being the best. I sought pleasure in handling simultaneous deadlines and challenging myself to produce a consistent high standard of work even under extreme pressure. I found my satisfaction in striving to be excelled and constantly pro-active in this architecture profession both studying and working life. Architecture should be everyone’s base of lifestyle as a whole.

I have always believed that travelling will test you in every way. Be it social skills or crossing cultures, these fundamentals will then be embedded in yourself and makes you who you are. Not only learning about the architecture worldwide but also different religions, culture, languages and food. All these collected essence and memories will help me into being a better designer and maybe to contribute in our education system in future. Who knows right ?!
